Jk2 Pacers - The Old have returned for one last dance...

Jk2 Pacers is a newskool clan with oldskool players. /WT1 or /Wti The clan originator along with BlackStormBT formed the pacers in 2008-2009. Losely joining the server for jokes but never serious enough to return the next day.



Inspired from a Sci-Fi show the sliders - where you basically dissapear into another realm or dimension. And /WTi thought of people walking around on their front lawn
pacing back and forth and all of a sudden disappearing and then reappearing 35 seconds later, on the same property. They pace in and out of time.. hence storm and wti decided to call them pacers.
not only did they pace back and forth because they were severely stressed out about life but they ventured to another realm and paced out of time and eventually reappeared back into time.





In Dr Who when you venture out of time, your known to be in the Great Void. And currently the Daleks and Cybermen are situated there based on the last season with rose and the Doctor in Dr Who Season 2.
We called ouselves pacers, because we paced in and out of jk2 for years, In the beginning we were in servers everyday for at least a year or 2 and then after clan breakups and people moving on to other games like wow we would leave again. and return for just a casual game.



Early History
When /WTi and Storm were apart of LS long ago they were never embraced as amazing duelers but rather annoying lamers and perhaps decent force users. (lamer : a player who frags another without them being aware or normally lightsaber switched off, and/or even chatbox up). Eventually after the first break up of LS and its subclans Storm and /Wti formerly known as Ion left for their seperate ways, and Ion would later join Grendel g// along with LS Sinju who changed his named to g//suiji and eventually many other names since. Storm after a laming frenzy in many public servers would eventually get fed up and unamused and decided to shift out of Jk2 indefinitely. Around this time an old friend from school would join by the name of Xcalibur shifting into jk2 during crisis and departure of great clans such as IKBR and EKJO and dueling clans such as *IC* would seldomly be found and eventually they diminished entirely. And New Servers being born such as JU hosted for as many as 20-30 players allowed Xcalibur to learn quickly enough to master the specials and use the force. Xcal picked up most of his tricks and style on his own, which is admirable and would be usually found sporting a spawn skin, a pimp like character using a massive sized overcoat - which made Xcal seem even more wreckless out in the streets and the spawn skin pack was particularly popular at this time, so some players saw this and others did not. The others who did not see him as a pimp still recieved a boot to the face - it just showed up as kyle and not a spawn character. Meanwhile /WTi was no longer on the main roster and eventually was waived along with others from grendel because of the lack of progress and later the clan found itself going anywhere so g//prime closed it down for good. During the last days of grendel /WTi - (would have then been Ion) met rumor - a well all around ff and standard jk2 fighter who knew more about how the game worked than the gameplay itself. /WT! learned alot about the gameplay mechanics from rumor, which allowed him to play in much harsher conditions. Rumor would be accustomed to playing at deprived conditions with a significantly high ping and still be able to battle and prevail over other jk2 players with much lower ping. He would take the place at the reputation of a "HPB" (High Ping Bastard). Storm commented one day recently, and said "who was the player that played with the game soo laggy and jerky all the time ?"(this would be considered less than 15 fps) "..and knew how to shut the walls off?" And I replied, "that would have been rumor." Grendel or g// would be remembered as one of the last great unknown ff clans to exist much after the popular TWL had its hands in jk2. Back when ladder matches were popular. In between this time lies a blank memory - it won't be till much later that clans like iF, flaw, and *BS* would take a their place and cause problems for new players and old players alike. LS Sinju at this point lost contact with us, and never if rarely ever saw him even after the great LS resurrection... /WTi continued to play after joining and leaving clans when they fell apart. And would frequently be on vent with old friends who played jk2 hearing WOW commentary, but never knowing what it was like, i tried to avoid MMO's with a 10 foot pole.


After LS got tired of trying MU a wierdass MMORPG they decided to resurrect LS after 04 in a strong effort by Honu and Craz, and we played again after a long haitus. It was huge like it once was, and even the oldskool LS players came back here and there. Even Morph himself the LS clan creator. During this time JJ was kickin it up and wanted to form an alliance with LS, never sure if it ever became official but i did once walk thru a LS custom map seeing their template on the wall. Eventually tho, after all the hard work of a custom LS map and forums, and retraining - it started to diminish slowly as players left for bigger games like Guildwars and WOW. MMORPG's started taking over the gamming market at an alarming rate. It wasn't over night but after Honu gave it up, it wasn't the same and the Lack of leadership allowed it to fall to this day. As far as we are aware of Honu, Craz, and perhaps other LS members are still playing WOW. we wish them well.
Presently
Today there is still some of old who play but not alot. It is unsure that the original clan members of IKBR or EKJO are playing despite seeing tags dispersed throughout the servers such as ca.. or if its a replica. Popular servers such as JU are not found, but NT and THC still have servers open. LM has been spotted but not in great numbers. They are considered one of the best dueling clans at this time. LM is or was a division of LS. CA is currently the most popular and usually sees over 20-25 players connect throughout the day. The Force servers are few.
